From downsizing, divorce, losing a loved one or handling a probate estate, at River City Estate Liquidators, we will help you determine the best route to handle your estate's home inventory. Once decided, we work diligently to meet your goals from pricing, to staging to the sale date and all the details in between.

This may be your first time dealing with an estate, but it isn't ours. We are happy to provide a free consultation and answer any questions you have. Once a contract is signed, we will begin setting up for the sale. We offer professional staging to achieve the best exposure to all items at the estate sale. We use fair market value which not only helps us convert more inventory, it also provides greater funds since more items will sell when not priced above market value. We have an experienced team to assist with set up and the sale days. They are courteous, respectful and people oriented, which brings in more customers to shop your estate sale. After the sale, we can assist with a final clean out, if needed. Then we will provide a receipt and estate check. We are licensed and insured.

Estate Prep Work

Once hired, we set your estate sale date. Then we will come in and do a thorough inventory, unboxing, display, research and pricing. During our discovery stage, we keep an eye out for personal items including paperwork, family photos and hidden money or any other requests that may have been missed. We make sure these are returned to you. Many times we've had family surprised at what we found, even after it had been gone through. 

Part of our job is to thoroughly go through the home's inventory. We will help you with this daunting task, which saves you time and energy. Just give us a list of items you're looking for. 

From staging, pricing, appraisal, marketing, external venues for high-end pieces, we work to meet your goals for the estate.

What to Expect

Our goal at an estate sale is to sell a home's contents in a short amount of time for the most amount possible. This helps to ease the burden of cleaning out the home and provides some extra funds for the estate to finalize expenses prior to selling the home. After the estate sale, you will receive your funds within 3 business days of the sale along with a receipt for accounting purposes. If there are items we've decided to put to auction, we will work on those items at this time and keep you updated as those sell. We also offer clean out services to have the home completely empty and ready to put on the market.
