Estate Prep Work

Once hired, we will come in and do a thorough inventory, unboxing, display, research and pricing. During our discovery stage, we will keep an eye out for personal items including paperwork, family photos and hidden money that may have been missed and return them to you. Many times we've had family surprised at what we found, thinking they'd thoroughly gone through the home's contents. 

From staging, pricing, appraisal, marketing, external venues for high-end pieces, we work to meet your goals for the estate.

What to Expect

Our goal is to sell 60%-80% of the home's contents. This helps to ease the burden of cleaning out the home and provides some extra funds for the estate to finalize expenses prior to selling the home. After the estate sale, you will receive your funds within 3 business days of the sale along with a receipt for accounting purposes. If there are items we've decided to put to auction, we will work on those items at this time and keep you updated as those sell.

The most common choice to liquidate a home, quickly. It normally takes a couple of weeks to set up a sale and we aim to sell 60-80% of the home's contents. This is dependent of many factors, which we can discuss further in person.

We have found that people don't always want a long multi-day, in person estate sale. Whether you don't have a large enough collection for a sale or just need it gone asap, a partial buy out is an option.


Last Minute Sales

Need to empty a house asap?

We can hold an estate sale with as little as two days notice. This will not look like a typical estate sale that has been inventoried, staged and priced. Most items will not be priced and most things will be left where found in the home. We will do a once over to help ensure there are no valuables, personal items or other items that can not be sold to the public. Pricing will be done on the spot by our knowledgeable estate liquidation team.
